​Linkville Newfoundlands

Our dogs are our passion.  We exist for them.  They are wonderful companions, smart, funny and just plain great to live with - even though they slobber and shed year round!  Our dogs are bred first and foremost to be a wonderful family member.  If we are fortunate, we have one litter per year.  We have been members of the NCA (Newfoundland Club of America) since 1989, members of the NCNC (Newfoundland Club of  Northern California) since about 1991 and members of the all breed Klamath Dog Fanciers since 1988.  Both Chris and I have performed in various capacities for the all breed club.  We have each been the Show Chairman for our local show (7 years worth) and Glenda has been recording secretary, trophy chairperson a Board Member.  Chris is presently serving as the President.

We started showing Newfs in 1987 and decided that we had something to offer the Newf world and the dog world in general.  That was the beginning.  We began breeding Newfoundland puppies and  have shown our own dogs to their championships and are very proud of that fact.  Most of our champions have been owner handled from the Bred By Exhibitor class.  As we have aged it has become harder to do so we have joined forces with some wonderful handlers - Rick & Dinah Baggenstos.  We have been recognized by the AKC as Breeders of Merit and are pleased with that title.
